Hi fellow scrapbooker. Good luck to you in your weight loss goals. Stay away from the scale. You'll know if your losing by how your clothes fit. I would suggest drinking at least four big glasses or bottles of water per day and see if that helps. Please check out my new blog at http://scrapgirl.today.com.

It sounds as though you're ready to make a lifestyle change. I applaud you! I experienced the same weight plateau after my daughter was born. My suggestion to you is instead of weighing yourself everyday, try it once a week. You won't want to do it daily because water retention could result in a false reading. Our bodies tend to hold more water toward the evening. Believe me, I know from lots of experience, lol! Stay with your plan and add more protein, veggies, water, and fruit to your diet and you'll be well on your way to losing the weight you want. Good luck and take care!

I don't know the answer, but I do share your pain. I gained 50 lbs with my pregnancy and I had my baby 4 mts ago. Some people think I am pregnant again. I lost 20 lbs but can't seemed to loose another ounce. It doesn't help that my best friend had a baby and was able to leave the hospital in the jeans she wore before she was pregnant. My husband keeps reminding me that it took 9mts to put the weight on, and it will take 9mts to take it off. Sure hope he is right.
