Just updating on my weight loss. Now that I am no longer breastfeeding, which has been one reason I couldn’t go on too strict of a diet lately, I can start trying to lose the extra pounds I have been aiming for. I have set a new goal of 15 pounds by thanksgiving.  I have been reading up on the acai berry diet. I am going to give it a try for 1 month and see if I experience the weight loss that so many people seem to be getting with this new wonder fruit. I am also going to stick with my 3 days a week workout at the gym and try to continue to do pilates at home twice a week. If the weather permits me I want to start running on the weekends. I have never really been much of a runner, but I know I can at least survive running a mile maybe 2 so I am going to give it a try. Most of the people I know who are in good shape and at a healthy weight run. I am just crossing my fingers it doesn’t rain every weekend for the next month. For some reason I prefer running outside rather than on a tread mill. But if I have to I will because I really want to lose weight.  I know I have trimmed down my legs and butt, because I can now fit into more of my pre-pregnancy jeans. But they don’t fit as good as they did before. I want to not only fit in them, but look good as well.  I just hope this acai berry lives up to its reputation.
